I knew I should have gone yesterday. Instead I opted for a cold Heineken, followed by some two hours of very unfruitful last minute wedding shoe shopping (I've had a change of heart on my shoes. Currently I have a closed-toe, kitten heel shoe. Now I want open-toe anything. In gold.)
So today I suffered a little because while the humidity had evaporated, so did 10C (bringing today's temp to the midteens), and a chilly breeze replaced the lost heat too. Brisk conditions for the regular Tuesday RunClub, but we perservered. We did a 5.6K square loop of the downtown core, heading east today for some new, though decrepitly industrialized, scenery. Three great things happened next. One, I found my shoes! (though they're a half-size too big but I bought them anyway and will think about them a little longer). Two, Emily called to say she has arrived from Ghana, via London. Three, CMan had spaghetti waiting for us when we got home.
