Curbside Crew

Time for some positive news. My sister, brother-in-law, and CMan are my curbside crew for the marathon. By happy coincidence, my sister and her husband will be flying through Chicago on marathon weekend to visit some family in Milwaukee. They plan to see me sometime on Sunday, though probably not til after the marathon to celebrate. But they'll be getting the race updates, as can you, via the Runner Update Network. CMan, of course, will fireman carry me home.

Now I better get better so I can give them something to cheer about! (Thanks to the masses for the well wishes. I still don't feel I've turned the corner, but I'm keeping positive.)

I just read your "doubtful" entry and I hope you are doing better.

Having people you love cheering for you is really the best thing to keep you going, especially when it becomes hard, for me it was around the 35 km mark and I saw my dad at 38 km and it was a like a boost for the finish line!

Good luck to you. =) You'll do awesome, I have no doubts! =)
