That's from Hal Higdon's "Marathon: The ultimate training guide", a birthday gift from Yumke. I've just recently picked it up again and that sentence is quite possibly my favorite.
So today is rest day, the pre-training plan says. No argument there. But I think I'll go reintroduce myself to my yoga mat. It's felt neglected lately. And my body wants a good stretch. Or a massage. Is it too early to treat myself to a massage?
I think I need to design a better reward program for myself.
