To celebrate the last day of the film festival, I'm going to try to jam as many movies as I can, tickets and time permitting. If I can get to all that I want to, that will be five for the day. I got up this morning and hurried downtown to catch a movie called Quelques jours en Septembre.
In many ways I'm glad to see the festival wrap up. It's not normal to watch so many movies, from start to finish, in such a short period of time. Nobody should be eating popcorn at 9am.
So instead of going to another movie immediately, I came home for an early break, and some proper food. (This festival, while fun, has been nutritionally horrible. Too much coffee substituting as meals. And bad, expensive sandwiches.) With a little bit of time on my hands, no deadlines to meet, I reintroduced myself to my running shoes and jammed in a short jog before the next screening.
I am pleased to report that I haven't forgotten how to run. The 2.65mi test run wasn't the swiftest outing, but I hardly ever find my groove before mile 3.

Hey good to read that things are back to normal, relatively speaking. I'm writing this sitting in ryerson waiting for the film to start.
